Story & Legend

When the demons and gods churned the ocean of milk, Lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini to distribute the nectar of immortality. This Ekadashi commemorates that divine act.

जब राक्षस र देवताहरूले क्षीरसागर मन्थन गरे, भगवान विष्णुले अमृत वितरण गर्न मोहिनीको रूप लिनुभयो। यो एकादशीले त्यो दिव्य कार्यको सम्झना गराउँछ।
